Sri Lanka Cricket Tour
Sri Lanka and cricket are inseparable. Sri Lanka people eats live, breathe and think cricket. The island has multiple big cricket stadiums and game is played at very high level around the country. You do not have to worry about not having an opponent to play against because al people from Sri Lanka are ready to play a game of cricket against a visiting team.
Day 1- 4 You and your team will arrive in the capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo. After you check-in at the hotel it is time to rest from the long flight. Wander around this busy city or relax at the beach. The second days there can be a training session at the Premadasa Stadium. This huge stadium can seat up to 35.000 people an is the largest cricket stadium of the Nation. If you think you are recoverd from the long jerney you can challenge local cricket teams to play a cricket match. After some training sessions and (multiple) matches against teams from the area you and your team can choose to relax or go on a excursion and go sightseeing. Here in Colombo there are also a lot of opportunities to watch a game of local teams that play against each other or to have a specialized training clinic from one of the high level Sri Lanka cricketplayers. After Colombo you can choose to visit the relaxed and beautiful sandy beaches of Negombo. Day 4-8 After a few days of training sessions, fitness, matches and sightseeing in the area of Colombo it is time to move one to enjoy the other parts of Sri Lanka. First the executive coach will take you and your team to Negombo. In Negombo you can choose to enjoy the beautiful white beaches, visit a local market or go on safari with your team. After Negombo the tour will take you to the Sri Lanka inland, to Kandy. Here in Kandy you will have some more training sessions and friendly matches against local teams in the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. In Kandy there also will be plenty opportunities to enjoy a high level cricketmatch in the sun between two local teams.
Day 5-8
After a few days of intense cricket in Kandy. It is time to go on to the East coast of Sri Lanka. You can choose to go see some of the almost undiscovered beaches of Batticaloa or to go surfing in Aragam Bay. In Aragam Bay is perfect for surfing and has also has a lot of hotels, hostels, cafes and restaurants. After you had a some rest at the east coast you can start you travel back to Colombo or go up North.
Day 8-11 From Arugam Bay you will slowly start to head back to the city of Colombo. You and your team will travel a long the South coast back the capitol. On the way you can stop at Yala National Park to go on safari. After the safari you can choose to climb Adam's Peak at Nurawa Eliya. At the top of this moment you can enjoy a stunning sunset, if you make it in time.
Day 11-14 After the heavy climb. You will travel further to the city of Galle for the last session of friendly games and training sessions in the International Cricket Stadium of Galle!
Day 14-16 After Galle it is time to travel back to Colombo. You can choose to have a last stop at Hikkaduwa for the fanatic surfers or to travel on to Colombo.Back in Colomobo you can have a few more days ore choose to travel directly to the international airport.
